HTC One 2 Release Date, Features & Specs: Phone to Sport QHD Display and UltraPixel Cameras?
A new report on the HTC One 2 or codenamed HTC M8 has been put into spotlight with more rumored specs of a possible QHD display and the presence of ultrapixel cameras.
It was Bloomberg who first reported that the HTC One successor will have its launch date on February during the Mobile World Congress. According to NDTV Gadgets, the sources mentioned said that the upcoming handset will have a QHD display measuring five inches with 1440 x 2650 pixel. It will also have similar UltraPixel technology which was seen evident in the first HTC One model.
However, other rumored features include the HTC M8 to have twin UltraPixel cameras. The sensors are capable of bumping up various abilities of the camera like its auto focus and even image quality. Other leaked features mentioned by reliable source @evleaks added that the HTC One 2 will also have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor, a 2GB Ram, 2.1 MP front camera, Sense 6.0 UI and the Android 4.4 KitKat.
IBTimes AU interestingly wrote about the latest concept image made online for the upcoming HTC flagship phone. It was designed by Nikolai Prettner who uploaded the photos over Google+ which showed a much rounder built. It also featured a camera that has dual LED flash along with a wider screen.
On the other hand, alleged HTC One 2 cases which were revealed online as real images somehow lead to the possibility of the HTC One successor having the fingerprint scan technology too, Pocketdroid wrote. The authentic cases from China were first feature in Sonny Dickson's site. It also hinted the presence of the dual sensors of the Ultrapixel cam right at its back.
To make things more confusing and exciting all at the same time, Trusted Reviews mentioned of a leaked User Agent Profile highly thinking that the HTC M8 will not feature the 2k resolution display at all. The lack of soft keys also made things more interesting with the upcoming HTC One 2 since all of its predecessors had a couple of soft key buttons on any side of the logo right at HTC screen's bottom.
