Ben Affleck may soon be adding another producing credit to his resume.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the star of the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" movie will reportedly produce "Houses of Deceit," a movie about the recent FIFA scandal. Capping off eight days of negotiations, Warner Bros. has won a bidding war for "Houses of Deceit," a book by BuzzFeed investigative reporter Ken Bensinger that explains the account of American FIFA executive Chuck Blazer and his role in the largest sports and public corruption scandal in history.

No deal is closed but it is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks. Affleck, who directed "Argo," is expected to be the film's producer. Also expected to join is "Elysium" star Matt Damon.

Gavin O'Connor is attached to direct and will co-write the script with Anthony Tambakis.

"Houses Of Deceit" will explain the story of FIFA Chuck Blazer, who went from an unemployed soccer dad to a FIFA executive committee member and executive vice president of the U.S. Soccer Federation. He was also a general manger of CONCACAF, the soccer governing body for North and Central America.

Blazer was arrested and plead guilty to a 10-count indictment.

NBC News reports that Blazer must pay back $2.5 million in back taxes and penalties on millions of dollars of unreported income. According to the plea deal, Blazer raked in more than $11 million in unreported income, which he'll have to pay not only the taxes on, but also what's likely to be hefty penalties.

Members of the FIFA committee were indicted on wire fraud, racketeering and money laundering. The president of FIFA, Sepp Blatter, recently stepped down according to reports but he recently stated that he didn't resign.
