Donald Trump's recent anti-immigration comments about Latino migrants have sparked a heated war between him and Univision.

The billionaire real estate mogul is receiving major backlash for calling Mexican immigrants drug traffickers and rapists during his presidential election announcement speech last week.

"They (Mexico) are not our friend, believe me. ... The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else's problems. ... When Mexico sends its people, they are not sending their best. They are not sending you. They are sending people that have lots of problems, and they are bringing those problems to us. They are bringing drugs and they are bringing crime, and they're rapists," said the reality TV star on June 16. He also promised to build a border wall and "make Mexico pay for that wall" if he is elected into the White House, according to the New York Daily News.

Following his attack on Mexican immigrants, Univision, the largest Spanish-language television network in the country, announced that it is cutting ties with Trump and the Miss Universe Pageant, which he co-owns.

Univision news anchor Jorge Ramos has also slammed Trump for his controversial comments, calling him "the Hispanic community's most hated man," reports NPR.

In response, Trump promised to take legal action against Univision for breach of contract. The outspoken GOP presidential candidate has also banned all Univision employees from playing golf on his Miami golf course.

In a letter addressed to Univision CEO Randy Falco, Trump stated, "Under no circumstances is any officer or representative of Univision allowed to use Trump National Doral, Miami -- its golf courses or any of its facilities," reports The New York Post.

In addition, the reality star blamed Univision for conceding to pressure from the Mexican government. According to him, Mexico officials put pressure on the network because he opposes U.S. trade deals with their country.

"They don't want me saying that Mexico is killing the United States in trade and killing the United States at the border," said Trump.
