Justin Bieber has landed in Australia. The pop star followed rumored girlfriend Hailey Baldwin's steps and arrived in Sydney, Australia early Monday morning, but the trip may not be about love. The young pop star is set to attend a Hillsong Church conference while in Australia.

Hillstone Church will be hosting a five-day conference that starts June 29 and attracts youth from around the world. Bieber has been involved with the church in the past and has even shown his support for the church. Most recently Bieber posted a photo of the Hillsong church album on his Instagram account.

According to The Guardian, Bieber landed in Sydney on a private plane to attend the conference, where he has been confirmed a "delegate" of the Pentecostal church, which was founded in Sydney and now has branches in New York, London, Barcelona, France and South Africa, to name a few.

"People come from across the world to Sydney each year to attend Hillsong conference. Justin is here, like tens of thousands of others, as a delegate who is seeking to build stronger foundations into his life," said a spokesperson for the church. "He is not participating in the conference in any other capacity. Out of respect for his privacy we will not be making further comments."

The Canadian star has been trying to mend his public image in the last year after various issues with the law and public profiled incidents.

Baldwin, who is in Sydney for a Topshop launch, and the 21-year-old singer have been spotted together, whether in a group or just the two of them, on multiple occasions and share snaps of each other on their Instagram accounts. Baldwin, however, denied the rumored relationship when asked by E! News.

"We're just friends. I've known him for a very long time, since I was about 13," Baldwin said. "He's just going through a time in his life where he's transitioning in a really positive way and he needs good people around him. And I'm trying to be a good friend and be there for him and support him."

Bieber has been linked to other young Hollywood models since his split with Selena Gomez, including Kendall Jenner and Barbara Palvin.
