'The Originals' Season 3 Spoilers: Klaus and Hayley Will Grow Farther Apart in the New Season
Unfortunately, there will be little to no hope for a romance to spark between Klaus and Hayley in the upcoming season of "The Originals."
Although some fans are hoping that the parents of baby Hope will hook up when the vampire series returns to The CW this fall, new spoilers reveal that they will instead grow further apart.
During the Season 2 finale, Klaus cast a spell on the mother of his child in order to win Dahlia's trust. Under the curse, Hayley will be forced to live in the form of a wolf except for the rare occasion that there is a full moon, which occurs once a month.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Season 3 will kick off four months from where Season 2 ended and viewers will find Phoebe Tonkin's character trapped in wolf form. As expected, she will also be very angry about her condition and the fact that she has not received a lot of support from anyone. Plus, Klaus will make little effort to break the Crescent Curse, which will likely lead to more conflict between them.
Tonkins also opened up about how the curse will affect Hayley's relationship with Klaus.
"Hayley's not going to be able to forgive him easily for what he's done," the actress told TVLine. "Even if he did it for the good of his baby, I don't think he did it in the right way. He should have let Hayley know that's what he was doing so she could have been part of the plan. But he didn't do that, so now, [she's] pissed."
Season 3 of "The Originals" will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 9 p.m. ET and run for 22 episodes, reports WetPaint.
