Fans of the upcoming "Ghostbusters" film have been excited to see how the reboot will be handling the new material for the movie. There have been a lot of casting announcements and gender role reversals, but there has been nothing about the attire or the new look of the film.

All that changed on Monday when director Paul Feig sent out a tweet that revealed the new uniforms for the "Busters" squad, which look very similar to the original uniforms donned by the 1984 cast that included Bill Murray and Dan Akyroyd.

The uniforms take on a blue-collar approach, which resemble a workingman's attire for a city post. They are the classic overalls with name patches and safety coloring you might see on a highway crew. They also include working boots and utility pouches for external gear to stay latched on.

They bear the "Ghostbusters" logo, which appears unchanged since the original movie and they take on the appearance of a "city utilities worker," which lends credence to the blue-collar career, aside from the scientific minds that wear them.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the new "she-boot" uniforms clearly display that they were made for actresses Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.

Feig also shared a photo on Twitter this morning of the new proton pack being used in the film. These recent photos are very revealing to the fact that he clearly intends for this film to be a continuation of the original. The proton pack looks almost identical to the one used 30 years ago by the all-male "Busting" squad. That also makes one wonder if they intend to use the old Harold Ramis line of "crossing the streams could be extremely dangerous."

Either way, Entertainment Weekly also reported on this and the fact that Chris Hemsworth will be filling the role of Janine, the snappy secretary.

The film will be released next summer to legions of die-hard fans.
