The new coach of the Denver Nuggets, Michael Malone, is offering his Granite Bay home on the market.

The 44-year-old NBA mentor is selling the property for $1.3 million, the Los Angeles Times reported. The final closing price set in the deal was actually just a little over what the former Sacramento Kings coach paid for it two years ago. Citing real property records, the Times noted that Malone bought the residence for only $1.24 million.

The coach, who recently signed a deal with the Nuggets in June, as reported by Yahoo! Sports, may have enjoyed living in his Northern California home even for a while, based on the house's features.

The home that was just listed on Tuesday, proves to be a great bargain for property hunters who want to reside in the area.

The two-story Granite Bay property, which was built 20 years ago, displays an impressively-landscaped grounds.

The pristine-looking grounds are shown in the photos published on the Times. The grounds are highlighted with a swimming pool equipped with a spa, a big fountain, a covered patio, and a barbecue station. With these available amenities, a great swimming party may be held on the expansive yard.

The traditional-looking home in Placer County also has notable architectural details like arched doorways, beamed ceilings and wooden flooring.

Inside, the 4,891-square-foot home sitting on more than half an acre of California lot, features five bedrooms, including a master bedroom that comes with a bath tub and a fireplace. Other areas of the home available for the next owners to use are five bathrooms, a living room, dining rooms, a home office, a kitchen with a dining nook and a wine cellar.

Interested buyers of the Granite Bay home owned by the Nuggets coach may contact Jeffrey Anderson and Janet Hayden of Coldwell Banker, the property's listing agents.
