The Chinese women's tennis player Li Na, who is the current number four seed, will prepare to take on Dominika Cibulkova, number twenty seed, of Slovakia in the 2014 Australian Open final this Saturday.

Li Na achieved her third Australian Open final with a 6-2, 6-4 win over number thirty-seeded Eugenie Bouchard this past Thursday, while Dominika Cibulkova advanced to her first Grand Slam final ever with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over the fifth-seeded Polish Agnieszka Radwanska, who was recently involved in a controversy over posing topless.

"I think is the third time, so pretty close to the trophy," said the former French open champion Li Na, who lost to Victoria Azarenka in the final. She continued, "Yeah, at least I try to not falling down this time, because last year in the final I think I play well but I only can say unlucky because falling down twice. At least I try enjoy and staying healthy."

Li was aggressive from the very start of the semifinal match against Eugenie Bouchard, while Bouchard started nervously and was not able to make a point in any of her first three service games.

Eventually, Li Na finished off the game with a crosscourt backhand, which had been her main weapon against Bouchard the whole game.

Li Na, who won the French open in 2011, is one of the most talented tennis players of recent times. She is a powerful ball striker and moves around the court well. Some say she is one of the few who can match the powerful stroke of Serena Williams.

On the other hand, the 5-foot-3 Dominika Cibulkova has proved that size does not matter to reach the final of Australian Open. She trashed Polish opponent Agnieszka Radwanska on Thursday's women's semifinals, taking only a mere hour to set up the lopsided 6-1, 6-2 victory.

In the previous year, the women's grand slam winners were all 5-foot-6 or taller. Cibulkova, who is 24, had this to say about the matter: "It's not about how tall you are, it's just you have to really believe in it. There is nothing more important than this."

Cibulkova made history by being the first Slovakian who reached to the final of Australian Open and now people are waiting to watch an exciting match between Li and Cibulkova on Saturday.
