Khloe and Lamar Divorce 2014: Kim Kardashian Admits 'Khloe Wasn't Trying to Get Pregnant on Purpose' Because She Knew Marriage Wouldn't Last [WATCH]
During her guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday, Jan. 23, Kim Kardashian revealed her sister Khloé not only avoided getting pregnant because she clearly knew her marriage was dysfunctional, but also even skipped appointments with fertility specialists behind her family's back.
Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom's efforts to have a child together were well documented with reports of IVF and visits to fertility doctors before finally filing for divorce in December 2013, mainly due to the allegations of Odom's drug use and infidelity.
"For so long, everyone in our family was feeling really sad for Khloé thinking that she wasn't getting pregnant and everyone around her was," said Kim. "She was not showing up to these doctors' appointments behind our back on purpose and doing everything on purpose [to not get pregnant]. She knew that it wasn't right. She knew that she wasn't ready."
Despite the fact that the couple's marriage did not last, she commented, "I always thought Khloé and Lamar would work out."
Kim Kardashian and her fiancé Kanye West are currently living together with her mother Kris Jenner and half-sisters Kendall and Kylie. When the talk show host asked who is the best babysitter for her daughter North, Kim praised Khloé as the best babysitter. "Khloé is definitely the best babysitter," she replied.
"Rob is the worst. I wanted him to spend time with her the last day and asked him to babysit for an hour," she added. "I pretended I had a meeting and he never showed up. Kourtney said it was the worst idea ever."
Kim K. also spoke about her mother and stepfather Bruce Jenner's split, saying that they are both much happier now that they are living apart.
"It wasn't a surprise," she admitted. "They have been living as friends for a long time. You want your parents to be happy. It was more awkward for them to live together and not sleep in the same room. I think it's the time away has gotten them back to that really good friend place and they realized they're better off as friends."
