With Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's plans to end their 10-year marriage now confirmed, a movement has erupted on social media wishing for a return to the days of Affleck and former girlfriend Jennifer Lopez.

According to E! Online, Twitter hashtags like #BenniferLives and #BenniferUnbroken are quickly becoming all the rage with posters, basing their longings for a reunion on everything from true love winning out to the universe finally being aligned for a "Gigli" sequel.

Lopez and Affleck dated for several years beginning in 2002 and in her "True Love" memoir she described her breakup from the "Good Will Hunting" actor as her "first real heartbreak."

In a 2012 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Affleck reflected, "We do have the kind of relationship where there'll be an e-mail saying, 'Oh, your movie looks great.'"

Affleck went on to insist he still harbors great respect for his ex. "I like her," he added. "She's put up with some stuff that was unfair in her life, and I'm really pleased to see her successful."

More recently, the "Jenny From the Block" crooner has been romantically linked to on-again, off-again boyfriend Casper Smart, but Lopez recently hinted to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres she's just having fun.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm kind of not, but I kind of am," Lopez said when asked if she's still single. She later added, "Have you ever been at a point in your life where you don't know? Like you're not sure about things? Well, that's all. I am not sure about anything."

Affleck and Garner called it quits after months of rumors about their union being on the rocks. Hollywood Life now reports the two have lived apart for months and were in therapy for at least two years before making their split official.

The couple has three young children together.
