A new comedy is coming to ABC Family and the name says it all -- "Gorgeous Morons." As if that title wasn't revealing enough, just know that the beautiful Lilah Richcreek has been cast as the female lead in the series, but she is not exactly the title character, as reported by Deadline.

This multi-camera comedy has attached Richcreek to play an opposite style of the role in the series. It is centered around two brothers named Madison and AJ. One of them is a model and the other is a personal trainer.

In the show, Jane (Richcreek) is an American Literature Ph.D. who needs to find an affordable place near her campus to live. That is where the two brothers come in. They are the ones that fit the title roles in this series as they stunningly handsome, but ridiculously stupid. They live their lives as materialistic simpletons and when Jane needs a place to live, they bring her into their home.

The brothers initially find that her looks are in desperate need of attention and try to find ways to transform her. Jane has other ideas about how she wants to live her life and she avoids trivial ambitions and instead, options for a life filled with sustenance.

She ironically bonds with AJ over their mutual dislike for carbs. But when it comes to Madison, his intimidation of her intellect causes them to butt heads. He is also amusingly disgusted by her wide array of jogging pants.

The story really starts to fill out though when Jane encounters a soul-crushing exclusion from a paper she co-authored with a professor. To her surprise, her "moron" roommates come to her defense.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show comes from the creative and Emmy nominated duo of "The Office," Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, along with their head writer Danny Chun. The trio has an overall deal struck with ABC Studios and will be working other pilots as well.
