'Pitch Perfect' Star Rebel Wilson Debuts New Boyfriend on Red Carpet
"Pitch Perfect" star Rebel Wilson came out with her new boyfriend on the red carpet Wednesday making their rumored relationship official.
The actress wore a red dress and black heels while walking side by side with comedian Mickey Gooch, Us Weekly reports.
They attended the "Ur In Analysis" movie screening in Hollywood in which Gooch stars as Al. The couple met earlier this year in New York City when they were filming the upcoming movie "How to Be Single."
"They get along really well, they respect each other's work," an insider tells Us Weekly. "She's been too busy to date for a while, they've been texting often and they've been spending some time together in LA and New York."
Wilson talked to Australia's Elle magazine in the past about maintaining relationships in the entertainment industry.
"You have to sacrifice relationships because you work, and now I travel all around the world," she said. "I'm constantly moving and constantly traveling and so it's really hard to maintain a relationship in that kind of environment."
The rising star best known as Fat Amy in "Pitch Perfect" says she likes to keep her personal relationships out of the spotlight.
"I keep that [part of my life] quiet," she said. "You have to have some private stuff, and so I've never flaunted anything or talked about anybody."
Dating rumors of Wilson and Gooch started circulating back in May when they were spotted at a New York Rangers game together, E! News reports.
They were also in the Big Apple having dinner at Beauty & Essex. An insider told E! News that the reservation at the upscale restaurant was under his name and that the couple displayed a little bit of PDA.
"How to Be Single" is set to be released in February 2016. Other stars in the film include "Mad Men" star Alison Brie and "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress Dakota Johnson.
