One of the nice things about "The Last Ship" on TNT has been that anything is possible in a post-apocalyptic world, because everything is scary for one reason or another. That held to its premise last night when they aired their fourth episode "Solace" in the current Season 2 run, according to CarterMatt.

Encountering a new ship out at sea, the crew of the USS Nathan James board it to see what lies in wait. It is a medical ship and has the production capabilities to make more doses of the cure for a much broader populace.

Boarding the ship came with a heavy vibe that is inherent to such shows as "The Walking Dead" over on AMC, which frequently involves its characters entering long-abandoned stores, hospitals and various other public places.

The crew boarded the ship and found no one, at least in the beginning. If only they were so lucky though, given that this was the first time they encountered the group of crazies known as the "immunes," according to an article on Examiner.

This group of people, which initially had their first on-screen rendezvous with Patient Zero, would mark their first on-screen showdown with the crew of the Nathan James. But they are not all about the "crazy" angle as the crew soon realizes they have militarized.

So fans of the show can elevate their expectations from this group that at first was looked at as nothing more than a cult of creepy crawlers. Their militarization has given them significant status as a new enemy for the Nathan James crew to contend with over the season.

Fans also got a glimpse at the new roles Wolf Man (Chief Taylor) and Ravit will be playing on the crew. Although there was fair enough reason to distrust them in the beginning, their characters are making some honest progress.

Fans of the show can head over to TNT and catch up on any missed episodes.
