Tate is not afraid of the champ and wants to fight her once again.

UFC star Miesha Tate appears in optimal shape in a picture she posted on her official Instagram account. The 28-year-old grappler is set to fight in a title eliminator bout with Jessica Eye in Chicago on July 28, MMAfighting.com reported.

But what Tate is ultimately preparing for is a potential fight between her and the current bantamweight champion Ronda "Rowdy" Rousey, according to MMAmania.com. Tate has fought Rousey twice and still is the only fighter who has made it to a third round against the reigning champ. This is considered as a big accomplishment as no other opponent has made it out of the first round with the 28-year-old Rousey.

In a feat that has sports enthusiasts and the media frenzied, Rousey has won her last two title defenses with a spectacular combined time of 30 seconds.

Tate is seeking another match with Rousey to complete their trilogy. However, in order for that to happen, Tate has to beat Eye and move on to the title fight. On the other hand, Rousey has to beat Brazilian Bethe Correia on August 1 at the HSBC Arena, as was announced by UFC president Dana White during a UFC press conference in Rio de Janeiro.

Correia was brought to the fight with the champ thanks to her 3-0 recent run in the UFC. Rousey also expressed that she really wants to fight the Brazilian. Correia has emerged victorious in two matches against Rowdy's buddies Shayna Baszler and Jessamyn Duke, and has been campaigning for a match between herself and the champ Rousey.

But Tate thinks that Correia bit more than she could chew, pertaining to the Rousey fight.

"I think Bethe is in over her head. This fight is too early in her career. She has yet to fight anyone in top 10. It's a deep pool and Ronda's the queen of the division. It's a big step up for Bethe," Correia told UFC Tonight.

After facing each other in two fights, Tate and the reigning champ have developed a tensioned connection. Tate is considered Rousey's longtime nemesis. However, Rousey said that her upcoming opponent already managed to top Tate on her "most hated" list.

"Bethe has succeeded in being disliked more than Miesha. That's quite a feat," Rousey said during the "UFC Fight Kit" in New York.

During the event, Rousey appeared to be in a positive mood as she joined other athletes to promote a sports apparel brand. She openly discussed topics like her journey to being considered the most dominant athlete in sports and her continuous rise to superstardom not only in sports but in Hollywood as well.
