"Better Call Saul" Season 2 is officially filming!

The International Times reports the "Breaking Bad" spin-off wrapped up it's first production meeting on Tuesday. Executive producer Thomas Schnauz tweeted out the first official photo of Season 2. You can check it out below:

One fan on Twitter wanted to know if the production meeting was actually a cast table read but Schnauz shot that down tweeting the following:

When we last saw James McGill (Bob Odenkirk), he walked out on a partnership offer from a large Santa Fe law firm thanks to Kim's (Rhea Seehorn) recommendation. After returning to Chicago, where he had been running a con with Marco (Mel Rodriguez), Mel drops dead. Jimmy decides to go do it alone. He asks Mike (Jonathan Banks) why they did not keep the Kettleman's embezzled money. He asserted that whatever stopped him will never stop him again, driving off on his way to become Saul Goodman.

Goodman was the lawyer of Bryan Cranston's character Walter White, a methamphetamine drug lord. It is not known if Cranston will make an appearance in "Better Call Saul."

The Associated Press reports New Mexico Film Office Director Nick Maniatis announced Tuesday that AMC has renewed the "Breaking Bad" spinoff starring Bob Odenkirk and it again will be filmed in Albuquerque. It already had started filming this past Fourth of July weekend.

"Better Call Saul" had monster ratings for AMC. According to Variety, Season 1 averaged 5.9 million viewers, including 3.7 million adults 18-49 and 3.6 million adults 25-54.

What will be in store for Saul Goodman? You will find out in 2016 when "Better Call Saul" Season 2 premieres.
