'Grimm' Season 5 Spoilers: Official Poster Suggests Nick Will Seek Vengeance
It looks like Nick Burkhardt will be on the hunt for revenge when Season 5 of NBC's "Grimm" kicks off this fall.
As fans may recall, the Season 4 finale ended with a shocking cliffhanger after Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) killed Nick's girlfriend, Juliette, in order to save him. During the gripping scene, Nick was about to avenge his mother's murder by choking Juliette to death. However, convicted by his love for her, he could not find the strength to kill his girlfriend. That's when Trubel stepped in and fired two arrows into his Juliette. After she was shot, Nick cradled his former lover in his arms and watched her die.
Although there have not been many spoilers about Nick's future next season, NBC released two posters that suggest that the detective will seek retribution when the show returns. In one poster, Nick looks contemplative and angry amidst hellish flames. Meanwhile, the caption on the art work reads, "Vengeance rises from the ashes."
Actress Bitsie Tulloch shared the official posted on Twitter, writing, "Season 5 @NBCGrimm poster with @mistergiuntoli's handsome mug. PS Gs the premiere date is Friday Oct. 30, 9 p.m. @nbc."
Her tweet could be an indication that her character, Juliette, may not really be dead and/or she will return in the future.
The other promotional image features David Giuntoli's character standing behind smoke holding a weapon along with the Season 5 premiere date, reports Spoiler TV.
According to TV Insider, "Grimm" fans can look forward to getting inside scoop about the upcoming season at the show's Comic-Con International panel on Saturday, July 11, in the San Diego. The entire cast including Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner and Claire Coffee along with executive producers Jim Kouf, David Greenwalt and Norberto Barba are scheduled to make an appearance.
Season 5 of "Grimm" is set to begin on Friday, Oct. 30, 9 p.m. EDT on NBC.
