The spinoff trilogy from the "Harry Potter" universe by author J.K. Rowling, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," has been moving quite rapidly for the film adaptations.

As reported by Deadline, Alison Sudol ("Transparent," "Dig") has been cast for a role in the film. This role is that of Queenie, who is the sister of Tina. In the book, they both encounter Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) when he makes a stop in New York while on his search for fantastic beasts.

Scamander is on the search for these fantastic beasts so that he may document them and report his findings. He is a magizoologist in this prequel series to the "Harry Potter" books and films.

Katherine Waterston has been cast in the role of Tina, starring opposite both Redmayne and Sudol in the series. Waterston was one of the ensemble cast members from the critical hit "Inherent Vice" this year by Paul Thomas Anderson, which has been on the awards circuit.

Waterston has also appeared on other notable TV and film projects such as "Boardwalk Empire," "The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby," "Night Moves," "Being Flynn," "Taking Woodstock" and "Michael Clayton."

It has also been reported that Rowling herself will be making her screenwriting debut for the film, which will be directed by David Yates. Yates also helmed the previous four "Harry Potter" films with a large degree of success.

The producer for all eight "Harry Potter" films, David Heyman, is also returning for this trilogy of cinema intrigue that many fans have been chomping at the bit to see.

Heyman will be joined at the producer's chair with Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram. Kloves was the screenwriter for seven of the eight "Potter" films and Wigram was their executive producer on the last four.

The film is set to premiere on Nov. 18, 2016.
