It will be a rematch.

Roger Federer will face Novak Djokovic for a repeat of last year's final, where Djokovic won the Grand Slam title over Federer.

Djokovic is aiming to get his ninth Grand Slam title and third Wimbledon trophy. Federer, on the other hand, hopes to get his eigth Wimbledon championship.

Federer said of Novak in an interview with members of the press: "Novak's been the best player for a few years now. He's made it extremely difficult for the guys to win big tournaments. I know how I can beat him, but this is a different occasion. We've been both been there before. I really hope I can get this one on Sunday."

Federer put on a dominant performance over Murray to win the semi-final match in three straight sets, 7-5, 7-5 and 6-4. Federer, ranked second in the world, served brilliantly throughout the match which allowed him to put a quick end to Murray's campaign.

The Swiss and his blistering serve had 20 aces that were just too difficult for Murray to return. Federer's serve left the Brit without much of an opportunity to shift control of the game, and he broke at the end of the first two matches.

According to BBC, Murray said, "He served fantastic, apart from the first game where I had the chance there. I didn't really have any opportunities. That puts pressure on you. The pressure builds throughout the set that way."

Out of the 81 points Federer scored, 70 of them were won on serve. As ESPN reported, his first-serves averaged 118 mph. This is Federer's 13th win against Murray against 11 losses.

In the other semi-final match, the defending champion Novak Djokovic beat Richard Gasquet in three straight sets, 7-6, 6-4, and 6-2.

While Federer dominated his opponent through the strength of his serve, Gasquet found that Djokovic's return was his most deadly weapon. The Frenchman said: "That's the best because he never misses a return. All the time serve you serve, the ball is always on your side again. It's very difficult."

Djokovic had treatment on his shoulder twice during the second set, but told BBC that "it's nothing that worries me. It will be fine for the next match."

After a rocky first set - which Gasquet came within inches of winning - Djokovic easily dominated the following two and finished off his opponent with a match that lasted almost two and a half hours.

The Wimbledon Men's final is scheduled on July 12, Saturday, 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
