The new and shockingly amazing trailer for the upcoming Starz series "Ash vs Evil Dead" has been released following its appearance at Comic Con in San Diego this year, according to a report on Entertainment Weekly.

Not only has the full-length trailer been released, but Starz has officially given the series a premiere date for Halloween this year, Oct. 31. This is of course only fitting considering that the powerhouse AMC zombie drama "The Walking Dead" releases nearly two weeks before it and the two shows are the most anticipated releases of the fall season in the horror genre and on cable.

The action packed trailer featured Ash (Bruce Campbell) back in his full glory. That includes a combination of his heroic stunts coupled with his ironic wit and boundless humor that makes the "Evil Dead" franchise a mainstay for horror and science fiction fans across the world.

The teaser started out with Ash, the aging hero from the original films, comically fitting himself in a girdle that pokes fun at both his age and his health. This of course sets the stage for the events that unfold in the trailer, which includes the nonstop action of him and his new protégés teaming to fight the Deadites. Of course, these evil monsters have returned after what appeared to be a hiatus from the world and have been once again powered by the evil words of the Necronomicon, or the Book of the Dead.

Although humor was very present in the teaser, there was also a lot of blood and even more action-packed glory for the aging horror hero. He seems to be a beat or two slower than before, but he hasn't lost his monster-fighting skills, and that includes the use of his "BOOMSTICK" and his chainsaw arm.

Yes, fans of the show will pleased to know that this trailer has everything they have been anxiously waiting for and even a little more.
