Former ‘Love and Hip Hop’ Stars Althea Heart and Benzino Expecting First Child Together
Former "Love and Hip Hop" stars Althea Heart and Benzino recently announced that they are expecting their first child together, WetPaint reports.
On Tuesday, July 7, Benzino took to Instagram to post a photo of Cubero cigars wrapped up in blue stickers with the words "It's a Boy!" printed on them.
Benzino then posted a photo from the couple's In Touch Weekly interview and revealed that Heart's due date is Nov. 10. He also revealed that they have yet to pick a name for the baby.
In addition to making their baby announcement on Instagram, Heart and Benzino also had a video interview with TMZ to share the news.
During the interview, the couple expressed their excitement over the baby news and also addressed the controversy surrounding their initial pregnancy announcement back in March.
TMZ reports that Heart first announced her pregnancy via Twitter in March and then quickly deleted the announcement leaving fans to wonder what happened.
Heart recently explained that she deleted the post because she felt it was too soon and wanted to make sure the baby was healthy before announcing the news to the world.
TMZ reports that Heart is currently five months pregnant. WetPaint reports that the couple is gearing up to star in the new season of "Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars."
Prior to "Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars," Heart and Benzino were cast members of "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta," but were later kicked off the show after Season 3 due to an intense feud with fellow cast mate Stevie J and his reported wife Joseline Hernandez.
