A new iPad with a much larger screen than previous models could be coming this November. The new tablet could be called the iPad Pro, according to Tech Radar.

Apple has slimmed down their iPads with the iPad Air and iPad Air 2 and also added the Retina display to the iPad mini 3. The company may be releasing a tablet with a screen similar to the size of a laptop.

The new iPad Pro could also be called the iPad Air Plus. Apple used the word Plus for the first time when they introduced the iPhone 6 Plus, the iPhone with the largest screen.

Apple's last major event, the Worldwide Developer's Conference (WWDC) was held in June and the iPad Pro was not announced. The iPad Pro is still expected to still arrive soon, according to Bloomberg. Sources with knowledge of the expected tablet suspect production could start in September.

Apple might be working with Foxconn Electronics to prepare the iPad Pro, according to a recent rumor. This would allow the components to arrive by September and the iPad Pro to be finished by November. That same rumor says that Apple is slowly ordering the components and might want to see how the iPad Pro sells before putting out a big supply of the tablet.

The iPad Pro would feature a 12.9-inch screen. It could also have four speakers, two on the top and two on the bottom. The Touch ID fingerprint sensor is expected to be included as well.

Packing 2 GB of RAM, the iPad Pro will either use the existing A8X processor or Apple's brand new A9 processor. The A9 is the processor that is expected in the next iPhone.

The iPad Pro could be the first iPad to utilize iOS 9, Apple's next operating system set to be released this fall. Apple previewed iOS 9 at WWDC, and it is currently in beta.
