“Kingdom Hearts 3” will be among the games that are going to be featured during Disney’s D23 event, which has already been slated to begin on August 16.

As announced on D23.com, apart from Square Enix’s “KH 3,” Disney will also be giving away more key details regarding “Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition” and “Star Wars: Battlefront” – both of which were developed by Electronic Arts.

The D23 Expo 2015 will also feature the biggest and most in-demand Disney and “Star Wars” games to Hall D23 theater, which can cater to as much as 7,500 people. Those who want to join and take part in this event can purchase tickets priced at $74 for adults and $54 for children between 3 to 12 years old. Members of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club can purchase their discounted tickets for $65 for adults and $48 for children.

With all the titles mentioned, it appears that “Kingdom Hearts 3” is the only project that is not part of the “Star Wars” gaming franchise. That said, it is expected that Disney Interactive will be showcasing more “Star Wars” characters and play sets that have just been recently added to the “Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition,” according to IGN.

Plus, fans are also hopeful that the audience will also be gifted with limited edition giveaways that will only be available at Disney’s Hall D23. The attending crowd can now know more about these much awaited games – especially “Star Wars: Battlefront,” which, loyal “Star Wars” gamers may know, is the authentic “Star Wars” game that will be out on November 17.

“Kingdom Hearts 3” players on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, however, will have to wait until next year – at an unspecified date – for the game to finally be out in the market.

Thankfully, just last month, “Kingdom Hearts” series director, Tetsuya Nomura, revealed some key details about the game in a recent interview with Dengeki Online and Famitsu. An excerpt of the chat, translated by Goldplanner, were cited by Kingdom Hearts Insider.

“I cannot speak in detail, but apart from Olympus Coliseum, nearly all the worlds are new,” Nomura said. “I am worrying over how to bring ‘KH 3’ to a close. I have already decided on my plans for the directions of the characters fans care about. I do not want to make something too short that only settles the main dispute.”

With regards to the game’s actual release date, Nomura only said that he “still cannot say anything.” However, he did talk about plans to “give new information at the Kingdom Hearts Fan Event that will be held on the 3rd of November.”
