‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5’ Trailer & Release Date: Nyjah Huston, Flips & Grinds Shown in New Teaser; PS4, PS3 Exclusives Coming
“Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5” for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 will be featuring some added exclusive content, as Robomodo president, Josh Tsui, confirmed on the PlayStation Blog.
According to his announcement, “THPS 5” will be having three new character heads, namely Sackboy, Ratchet, and Sweet Tooth.
There is no reason for Xbox gamers to fret, though, since an insider from Activision told Game Spot that the game will also be featuring some exclusive content for Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles some time soon.
In addition to these new character heads, the game will also be showcasing a new set of levels, each of which has its own set of missions and objectives that gamers can complete either with friends or solo through competitive play and online co-op.
Furthermore, it would appear that this new “Tony Hawk Pro Skater” installment has its focus on the game’s online flow. Players have the option to compete either with strangers that they have just met online or with their friends. They can also play by themselves by working to increase the level of their characters online, but being able to take them offline as well.
Of course, the master skater, Tony Hawk, will be back and will be joined by some familiar faces that gamers have already met through the game’s installments over the years. According to Game Informer, joining Hawk will be Ishod Wair, Andrew Reynolds, Lizzie Armanto, Leticia Bufoni, Aaron Homoki, Riley Hawk, Chris Cole, David Gonzalez, and Nyjah Huston.
For so long, both Robomodo and Activision have managed to keep mum regarding any details about the much awaited “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5.” Much to the delight of the fans, they have finally decided to release the game’s first official trailer, which showed the amazing skating skills of Hawk and Huston as they skated expertly through fan-favorite maps: Warehouse and the School.
The “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5” will be out for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on September 29. For the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 consoles, however, the game will reportedly be out in the market sometime later.
