Fifth Harmony member Normani Kordei has gone solo -- as a dancer at least. The singer announced, on July 14, that she would be featured in two music dance videos as the main dancer, reported MTV.

Complex premiered the two videos on July 14. Kordei is featured in Future's "Commas" and Teyana Taylor's "Do Not Disturb."

The singer is a focal member of Fifth Harmony, particularly because of her strong vocals, but Kordei revealed that dance is actually her first passion.

"I started dancing when I was 3 years old, and the main reason was because I wanted a pink tutu," she told Complex.

"In those early years dance became a part of my identity and helped shape who I am today. Dancing is more than just moving body parts, it is a pathway of expressing your deepest inner thoughts. When I dance I escape the present and become one with my soul. I put my all into performing so people can walk away knowing a bit more about me and feel the passion in my story."

However, while Kordei is looking forward to gaining success as a dancer she does not negate the importance being part of Fifth Harmony has had on her career and how it has influenced her.

"As a member of Fifth Harmony, we all have to do our part for the groups success so being a good team player is very important, but we also have our own distinct personalities and style," Kordei said.

"I focus on giving it my absolute best on every performance and leaving it all out on stage. I definitely feel that the group has had a huge impact and developed me in so many different ways, not only in the music industry but LIFE."

Next up Kordei will be showing off her dance skills with her fellow Fifth Harmony members when they perform at Premios Juventud.
