"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" will soon be released and the latest video game from Konami is being met with much anticipation since it could be the last Hideo Kojima project for the company.

More details of the multiplayer mode have been released recently and it seems that fans of the title are in for a very exciting time.

The multiplayer cooperative mode of the game is officially called, "Metal Gear Online 3." In a Q&A session on the social networking site, Twitter, fans were able to receive first hand details on what they can expect in the coop mode.

One of the highly anticipated parts of the online coop mode is the customization feature wherein players can personalize their equipment and look.

According to the official Metal Gear Online Twitter account, "The gear allows players to access different gear types, and one nice feature is the ability to change color, or even patterns in most gear."

It added that, "On launch there should be plenty of ways for players to modify their gear and take on a unique persona on the battlefield."

Players will then be able to look and attack differently in various missions and cases.

However, while the gear are customizable, it must be noted that the "patterns cannot be designed by the player," wrote Game Rant. However, the developer made sure that there will be plenty of design options to choose from.

Customizing gears are also divided into the different parts of the body and do not come in a complete full suit. For players who would want to switch their gears while in the middle of a match, it cannot be done and players are advised to carefully choose the design they want before they start a match.

It was also noted that all gear customization can only be accessed in the multiplayer mode.

While fans are all awaiting the release of the game for the console, one unwelcome thought is the idea that renowned game developer Kojima will finally leave Konami.

Rumors of the separation began when industry observers noticed that the Kojima logo was removed in all materials and advertising paraphernalia of the game.

It was also apparent that the developer was keen to leave hints of his goodbye to his fans even before the whole logo removal was reported.

According to Game Ranx everything about the "Déjà vu" mission in "Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes" seems to lead to that conclusion.

In the mission, players are set to explore a map to find logos of all "Metal Gear" titles. Upon discovery, the characters will shine a light on the logo, which causes it to disappear.

However, only titles that were directed by Kojima disappear and titles such as "Metal Gear Acid" and "Metal Gear Arcade," remain. In fact, when the logos disappear, a note appears after that reads, "You might be able to erase the markings, but the memories will never disappear."

Konami and Kojima have yet to comment on these reports.

"Metal Gear Solid 5" will hit PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 36 consoles on September 1. The PC version of the came will arrive on September 15.
