ABC Family's "Shadowhunters" released its first official cast photo on Tuesday. The only character missing from the picture is character Clary Fray's (Katherine McNamara) best friend, Simon Lewis, played by Alberto Rosende.

Also on Tuesday, McNamara held a Twitter chat where she, not only answered fan questions, but provided juicy tidbits about what's happening behind the scene of the highly anticipated TV series based on author Cassandra Clare's "The Mortal Instruments" novels.

The actress revealed the cast is currently filming Episode 6, and Clary and Shadowhunter Jace Wayland (Dominic Sherwood) have not kissed yet.

She said what she loves most about Clace -- the nickname given to the Clary and Jace pairing -- is "how they are each other's strength when they need it most."

Fans were interested to know what her relationship is like with Sherwood, considering he is Clary's love interest in the story. "My relationship with Dominick Sherwood is trusting. He is my friend, confidant, and sounding-board," she said.

When asked about the dynamic between Clary and Isabelle Lightwood (Emeraude Toubia) on the show, McNamara said, "The dynamic bw Clary and Izzy is so great -- different than most shows! Love @EmeraudeToubia ! Kisses lady!"

There comes a point when Clary meets Sebastian Morgenstern, the son of Valentine Morgenstern and Jocelyn Fray, who is her older brother. His father performed a series of experiments on their mother while she was pregnant with him, making Sebastian a Shadowhunter born with demon blood. Fans asked McNamara if this part of the story will be shown on "Shadowhunters," to which she responded, "I am SO excited to meet Sebastian! Let's hope @ShadowhuntersTV gets to that part of the story!"

Her favorite quote from "Shadowhunters" is, "My name is not little girl!"

McNamara'a two preferred tools as a Shadowhunter are runes and a seraph blade. Her favorite runes are "the Iratze healing rune, protect, and unseen."

Above all, McNamara expressed her gratitude at the opportunity to play Clary. "It is beyond awesome to be able to play this role. It's really a dream job. I am so thankful!" she wrote. "I'm stubborn and loyal like Clary and I'm learning to be brave like her."

On a personal note, when asked what her goal in life is, she tweeted, "My goal in life is to be someone who is able to make art that moves people to feel something."
