The introduction of Francis Dolarhyde as "The Red Dragon" finally catches up with the original book released by Thomas Harris back in the early '80s.

The episode "And the Woman Clothed With the Sun . . ." airs this Saturday on NBC at 9 p.m. EDT, according to TV Guide.

Viewers should make no mistake -- the "Hannibal" series is about to enter its pivotal moments that will soon make for one of the most climatic endings that has ever graced the small-screen, should they remain true to the source material. So far, they have, with a few gender swaps that are negligible.

According to Spoilers Guide, the stakes have been raised for Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) who has made another life for himself outside of the FBI. But that life could come crumbling down with his new wife, whom he views as his own personal savior.

All that aside, Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) has reeled Graham back into his own dark past, to assist in the "Tooth Fairy" investigation.

Francis Dolarhyde (Richard Armitage) is the ominous force responsible for the "Tooth Fairy" murders and his psyche is one to be reckoned with. Although Dolarhyde himself is the one that is truly tormented by his past and cannot escape his own mind, it is Will who's knocking at the door, trying to get in.

Graham will officially reunite with Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelson) and enlist his help in catching the Tooth Fairy. This of course makes the case files on the killer available to Lecter who sees it as an opportunity to get intimate with Dolarhyde.

Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas) has now taken over the duties of administrator of the Baltimore Mental Institution, which houses Lecter. This is one area that deviates from the original novel by Harris, which could no doubt have repercussions in future events that play out on the show.
