Tori Spelling Spotted on Shopping Spree Amid Rumors of Family's Financial Struggles
Tori Spelling embarked on a shopping spree in Calabasas on Sunday amid rumors of her family facing a financial crisis.
Dressed in casual summer wear, The Daily Mail reports the 42-year-old former "90210" star strutted the neighborhood with her blond tresses flowing and her hands filled with "multiple bags."
Just last year during a segment of her "True Tori" reality show on Lifetime, Spelling lamented how her family now lives from "paycheck to paycheck."
The daughter of famed TV executive Aaron Spelling, who was estimated to be worth as much as $600 million at the time of his death also added, "My dad wouldn't have wanted this. He'd be so mad. He worked so friggin' hard so his kids wouldn't have to f*cking struggle. I don't want to change our lifestyle. That's why I work so hard. I don't want to change."
Just the same, TMZ reported the family recently downsized from their 6,623 square feet home to one nearly half that size. The move was the family's third since they moved out of their old Encino mansion in 2011, which reports are they were forced to sell at a loss.
TMZ previously reported the couple held a major yard sale on Father's Day in June and were seen hawking everything from jewelry to home furnishings. For their last move, the two were also seen loading their own belongings into a rental truck and their own vehicles.
Despite all their money woes, Spelling and McDermott want more children, KpopStarz reported.
"They love their four children and believe a new baby will bring them closer together," a source said. "Sometimes it seems their love of kids is the one thing they have in common."
