Jada Pinkett Thinks A Healthy Sex Life Is Good for the Mind and Spirit
Jada Pinkett Smith hints she feels a healthy sex life is as good for the mind and spirit as it is for body.
The "Magic Mike XXL" star, who plays a strip club owner of an establishment aimed just at women, recently shared her philosophy with Bild.de. The 43-year-old veteran actress, who has been married to fellow Hollywood heavyweight Will Smith for 18 years, added, "It's very important -- really. "Not just psychologically, but physically: for the mind, the body, your well being. Women have to explore their sexuality, they have to discover their sensual side."
In the film, Pinkett Smith is a surrounded by what some would consider a dreamboat cast that includes Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Channing Tatum. But the feisty "Gotham" actress says there's no such thing as a "perfect man."
And the lure of that seems part of the thrill to Pinkett Smith. "I'm not perfect either," she said. "The best thing about a long marriage like mine? You realize that your husband is just a man with imperfections, he's no superman. You have to learn to love your man the way he is -- perfectly imperfect."
As for which of her costars struck her as the most impressive specimen, try as she might, Pinkett Smith couldn't pick just one.
"Let me tell you something, [I like] all of them, because it's all different," she said. "There's a variation, there's a variety. We like variety."
Pinkett Smith has also starred in such films as "Set It Off," "The Nutty Professor," "Menance to Society," "The Matrix Revolution," "A Low Down Dirty Shame," "Kingdom Come, "Enter the Matrix" and "Collateral."
Smith and Pinkett Smith have two children: teenagers Jaden and Willow.
