‘America’s Got Talent’ 10th Anniversary Special: Former Contestants Throw Barbs at Judges, Marlon Wayans Weighs In [Watch]
The NBC series "America's Got Talent" celebrates the singing, dancing, magic tricks, acrobatics and stunts performed by people from across the nation.
This week, the popular talent show celebrates its 10th anniversary in a two-hour "10 Years of Talent" special hosted by Nick Cannon on Wednesday. The special episode will feature the memorable moments from the last decade, including past winners, favorite performers and amusing commentary.
In the course of 10 years, the show judges have, at times, given brutally honest advice to the hopeful contestants. When the judge's opinion is not what the would-be stars want to hear, they often talk back to the judges.

Marlon Wayans, who has wrapped up a guest judge stint on the show, told Entertainment Weekly that honesty mixed with encouragement is the best judging method.
"Sometimes you see people and just want to go, 'Look, you suck. Give up hope.' But you can't, because everybody has a dream and a talent, and you have to nurture that talent the best you can. So your responsibility as a judge, even in the worst-case scenario, to at least give somebody some kind of encouragement," he said.
Of all the acts that took center stage during Wayans' time on "America's Got Talent," it was a little girl doing karate that left the biggest impression on him.
"I saw this little girl do karate, and it was one of my favorite things I've ever seen. It was awesome, she was unbelievable. I was like, 'That's one little baby in the park that a pervert in a white van wants to leave the hell alone,'" Wayans said.
