Joss Whedon has a big surprise for the many fans of the much awaited "Avengers" sequel or the "Avengers: Age of Ultron." It is set to shoot in various international countries like Italy, South Africa, and Korea.

The speculated locations for production of the "Avengers 2" are essential for various homes of several characters. In South Africa, the possible home of the Black Panther will be set up while in Korea, they will go for the Gangnam and Gyeonggi-do areas. The only location confirmed so far is Italy where the Bard Fortress will be established.

According to Mstarz, it was Channel 24 that first broke news that the entire crew will have some parts of the movie shot in and around Johannesburg for about two weeks this month. The city mayor could not express enough how thrilled they are to host the Marvel movie.

"It also has a very positive impact for the region and is a great opportunity for the city to be showcased to a worldwide audience," the mayor added.

As for now, it remains unclear on the purpose of the crew for shooting in South Africa. Other reports state that it would only be filming there several action photography sequences and not really with the main members of the cast.

On other news, it was confirmed by Disney CEO Bob Iger that the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" along with the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will tie to "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." It was Comic Book who first reported that the two latter mentioned would have a tie-in in October of last year. This was confirmed during the first quarter of Disney's Financial Year 14 Earnings Results Webcast.

MTV also reported about the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" crew eyeing a gym based in New York to maintain the fitness routine of the cast of superheroes included in the sequel.
