A short "Zoolander 2" movie trailer has just been released and it's sure to excite anyone who saw the original film in 2001.

The trailer for the sequel, which will premiere on Feb. 12, 2016, according to Entertainment Tonight, may already be viewed via Youtube.

So, why would this trailer interest those who enjoyed the movie 14 years ago?

First, there's the opening, which may remind fans of the long-time hit TV comedy series "The Big Bang Theory." The first part of the trailer plays like a scientific documentary, complete with a voice-over that resembles the mechanical tones of renowned theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking.

However, by the second half of the movie teaser, it becomes clear this scientific intro is just a joke on the absurd stupidity of Ben Stiller's title character. Stiller even reads "Zoolander II" as "Zoolander ii," and makes the excuse that he misread the roman numerals because he is not Italian.

This brings up the second thing that makes the trailer exciting: Ben Stiller himself. Stiller reprises his role as Derek Zoolander, who is a top model but a dim-witted and shallow person, as evidenced from his line on the video: "If God exists, then why did he create ugly people?" Despite his flaws, the first movie showed Zoolander to be a good person at heart.

Third, the trailer showcases the popular "Blue Steel" pose. Those who recall Zoolander's signature pose from the first film will instantly feel nostalgic at the sight of Stiller's crazy move.

Here's a video of the infamous "Blue Steel" pose as performed by Zoolander for the journalist Matilda Jeffries, portrayed by Stiller's wife, Christine Taylor.

Fourth, Stiller rocks leopard prints in the trailer, giving fans just a hint of the movie's playful critique of the fashion industry. Stiller's lines in the video become even funnier when delivered in costume.

If the trailer is not enough to rouse those who have not watched the first movie, consider this Instagram post that Stiller recently shared, which features co-star Owen Wilson, along with a cast of other hunky models.

Then, you may want to look at the first movie's trailer, which gives the basic gist of Zoolander's persona. The first movie even had cameo appearances by the hottest stars in Hollywood, including Winona Ryder, Natalie Portman, Christian Slater, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Paris Hilton, among others. It even included presidential hopeful Donald Trump!

Zoolander may not be for everyone, but for those who enjoyed the first movie, the sequel seems like a solid bet in 2016.
