Bobbi Kristina Brown Death News Update: Bobby Brown Grieving, Blaming Himself for Daughter's Passing
Bobby Brown is rumored to be taking his daughter's death hard and lamenting to friends he should have been "fighting harder for her life."
A shaken Bobby did not attend Monday's burial services for daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown in New Jersey, where she was laid to rest alongside her mother Whitney Houston.
"Bobby has so much guilt that it is eating him up every day," a source described as close to the family told the Daily Mail. "He told me he should have insisted Krissy get help for her drug addiction and he should have forced Nick Gordon to move out of her townhouse and leave her alone -- legally, if necessary."
Bobbi Kristina died under hospice care late last month, some six-months after she was rushed to an Atlanta hospital emergency room after being found face down in the bathtub of the Roswell area home she shared with Gordon.
"Bobby says he was her father no matter what age she was and he should have fought her or anyone else who stopped her from saving her from herself,' said a source. The source added, "He realizes his daughter saw a lot of drugs and domestic abuse growing up in the house with him and her mother, Whitney, who basically lived in a drug-infested den. But he says he should have tried harder to make it right after Whitney died."
Sources add Bobby is now convinced he should have taken the route Britney Spears' parents have in dealing with her and went to court and obtained a judge's order forcing his daughter to go to rehab as he became her legal guardian.
Bobby's worries and grieving don't end there. Reports are wife Alicia Etheredge is now suffering from severe diabetes that required her being rushed to a hospital on the day of Bobbi Kristina's funeral after she suffered a seizure.
