'Human Ken Doll' Rodrigo Alves Gets 35th Surgery
Human Ken Doll Rodrigo Alves just went under the knife for the 35th time in order to get the "perfect" look.
According to Us Weekly, the London native has spent more than $325,000 on surgeries to enhance his looks so far.
The 32-year-old, dubbed the UK's "Human Ken Doll," admits that he went too far when he first started his surgeries.
"I was very impulsive in the past and would have things on a whim without researching," Alves said. "I figured I had the money and time, and didn't think twice."
Alves recently went to Colombia to get liposuction on his jawline and underwent a buccal fat removal to define the features in his face this week. He also went through a few corrective surgeries including a rhinoplasty.
He urges people who want to receive plastic surgery to make sure that they are doing it for "the right reasons."
"Plastic surgery is so in demand and I'm trying to educate people, because I've made my share of mistakes in the past," Alves said. "I have only had to have this amount of plastic surgery because a few of them did not go well."
Alves appeared on E!'s "Botched" and recently signed a deal with a Latin American cable network for an upcoming reality show about body image. For the show, Alves will seek out people who want plastic surgery to give them image and body makeovers.
"People send me their stories of their own lives asking for surgeries, thinking I'd be able to help them out. I read each of them - very sad stories of ladies abused by their husbands, people who've had accidents. Very humble people who don't have much in their lives and have body image issues," he said.
UK's Human Ken Doll is already teaming up with doctors abroad to give a deserving person plastic surgery and will document their journey. He will begin with doctors in Colombia. The show is set to premiere in January 2016.
