'Chicago Fire' Season 4 Spoilers: Severide May Find Love, Steven McQueen Joins Cast
Fans are gearing up for the Season 4 premier of "Chicago Fire" coming to NBC in the fall, and here will be a new season regular and a new in-house romance.
Showrunner Matt Olmstead tells TVLine that Severide (Taylor Kinney) might just find "the one." Severide recently ended a quick relationship with a "Chicago Med" doctor, but that does not mean his love life is over.
"There's going to probably be an in-house romance for him," the executive producer said. "We want to give him something a little more substantial. A real love interest."
It is not clear who he will start a new romance with, since the cast is mainly dominated by men.
Former cast member of "The Vampire Diaries" Steven McQueen will join the cast of "Chicago Fire" as a season regular, according to Vine Report.
McQueen will play the role of Jimmy Borelli. His character gets in trouble with Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) on his first day of work, but hopefully he will come around.
Brian White, who appeared in "Scandal," will also join "Fire's" cast as Captain Dallas Patterson. He is the new man in charge of the squad.
Meanwhile, fans and cast members are still in the dark about where Casey (Jesse Spencer) may be.
In the Season 3 finale of "Chicago Fire," Dawson (Monica Raymund) had taken a mystery pregnancy test. While the results were not shown, she rushed to Casey's to give him the news, but he was nowhere to be found. Instead, Dawson found a dead stripper at Casey's home.
Will she ever find him to tell him the news of her pregnancy? We don't know if she is pregnant for sure. Yet, no one ever gets that excited to tell someone that they are NOT pregnant.
If Casey is alive when she finds him, will he be responsible for the stripper's murder?
"Chicago Fire" returns to NBC on Oct. 13 to answer most of our questions.
