Lily Collins and her new boyfriend, Australian actor Thomas Cocquerel, were spotted together during the Los Angeles Lakers-Chicago Bulls game at the Staples Center last Sunday, Feb. 9. JustJared reports the two held hands during the entire time as they watched the game in their courtside seats.

Days before the game, the two lovebirds were seen having a romantic date at West Hollywood's Craig's restaurant. The actress was all smiles as she made her first public appearance with her new boyfriend. The couple giggled their way as they exited the restaurant before hopping into Collins' car and driving away.

A source from US Weekly said Collins and Cocquerel were introduced to each other by their mutual friends. The insider said, "They just started seeing each other. A friend introduced them. It's new. He is an all around guy. She's happy."

And the "Mortal Instruments" star looks really happy indeed. Even with waves of paparazzi surrounding and taking snapshots of them, the 24-year-old actress can't seem to hide her smile in the presence of her new boyfriend.

Collins has been linked to some of her movie co-stars in the past. From 2010 to 2011, she dated "Abduction" costar and "Twilight" actor Taylor Lautner. Then, from 2012 to 2013, she went out with Jamie Campbell Bower, who appeared with her in "Mortal Instruments: City of Bones."

The "Mirror, Mirror" star was also rumored to have dated Zac Efron for a couple of months in 2012. But an insider said, "They were never really together, so you could say they split, but they were never an official couple. They hung out a bit but it was super casual."

So, is her fling with Cocquerel just a casual thing? Not likely. We can probably expect to see more pictures of the two cuddling it up and just plainly enjoying each others' company in the near future. For now, check out the WhoSay pic Collins posted of her with Cocquerel with another Aussie actor Samuel Nolan. Lily captioned the pic, "'Shhh #don'tsayaword but @thomasdominique, @samuelwnolan, and I are playing games during the "big" game. Honorary 3rd wheel Australian."
