"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice has given her husband her approval for him "to go out and take a break" as she continues to serve out the remainder of her 15-month prison sentence on fraud related charges.

Over the first seven months she has been jailed at the Danbury Correctional Facility, Joe Giudice has been seen out and about across town mingling with other people and even seemingly on dates with different women. Now a source hints his wife is well aware of it all and has given her blessing.

"This is a difficult time for him," the source told People magazine. "He has a lot on his plate now."

With his wife away, 43-year-old Joe has been entrusted with solely caring for the couple's four young daughters. He's also faced with the knowledge of understanding as soon as his wife is released he is slated to begin serving his own 41-month sentence on similar charges.

Despite all the rumors about his cheating and infidelity, a source added all the drama the couple recently endured has only brought them close together.

"She thinks these stories [about him seeing other women] are ridiculous, and so does Joe," said a source. "He is out with friends, who bring other people along. He tells her everything, calls her all the time and emails her all day long, so she always knows what he is up to."

The source added things have become so bad for Joe if he's so much as seen standing next to someone the story instantly becomes he is "with" that person. Reports are in one instance he was photographed with one woman whose fiance was standing directly behind the two of them.

Teresa is expected to be released sometime in December and has already signed on to rejoin the cast of "Real Housewives."
