Assassin's Creed Syndicate Trailer, Release Date, Gameplay: Evie's Power of Invisibility Revealed, Stealing, Driving Carriage [Watch]
The release of Assassin's Creed Syndicate is two months away. Despite the limited information Ubisoft revealed about the game, we do know Syndicate takes place in Victorian London, and for the first time in the series, the player will get to play as two protagonists, Evie and Jacob Frye.
According to the International Business Times, creative director Marc-Alexis Cote said both Evie and Jacob strengths are the polar opposite, meaning they both take different approaches when they are in combat and sneaking around. Jacob likes to fight his way out of a battle while Evie likes to be stealthy. However, when they are in a mission together, they are unstoppable.
"We asked ourselves how we could make the story different. They [our fans] want the experience to feel fresh year after year, and this kind of dynamic is not one we have really explored at all in the franchise," Cote said.
For those who want to play the game stealthily, playing as Evie is the best bet. She can become invisible thanks to the newly added chameleon skill. This happens when Evie is standing still and allowing her to blend in with her surroundings. The player can kill an unsuspecting guard nearby using this skill. This also works if you want to throw knives at your enemy.
This is not the only new feature in Assassin's Creed Syndicate. According to Stuff, for the first time in the series, you can ride and steal a carriage. Like stealing a car in Grand Theft Auto, you can throw unsuspecting drivers from their carriages and hijack it. The carriages can be used for escaping, hiding and driving.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate is in stores on Oct. 23 for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
