Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen Breakup News: Couple Headed For $460 Million Divorce?
Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen's marriage is rumored to be on the rocks stemming from the All Pro quarterback's tunnel-vision approach to life throughout the NFL season.
"During the off season and summer, Tom and Gisele are inseparable, constantly going on adventures with their family," a source told HollywoodLife. "But when late summer comes around and fall is on its way, everything changes. Tom has to go back to work, training for the season and he and Gisele spend less and less time together, leaving most of the parenting duties to Gisele. She loves being a mother, but having to let go of her career has not been easy."
The fallout from it all could find the superstar couple in divorce court, desperately trying to split up their estimated $460 million fortune. A source added things between the two have been strained for a while, but have never been quite this bad.
"Gisele told Tom that if he didn't make more of an effort, she might go back to Brazil for a few months to think about the future," a source added.
OK! Magazine reports that after recently celebrating Brady's 38th birthday, he and Bundchen had a huge fight "where they each dredged up every issue with the other that they'd been suppressing."
Since then, the couple has reportedly been communicating via angry texts.
Indeed, it's been the offseason from hell for Brady, who still finds himself enthralled in the ongoing "Deflategate" controversy that could yet land him a lengthy suspension to start the upcoming NFL season.
As for Bundchen, at the time of their union the couple is rumored to have signed an ironclad pre-nup that would result in an equitable distribution of the assets.
"They'd have every reason to stay civil about their finances," a source said of the couple, who have two young children together.
