The first part of the third installment in Veronica Roth's "Divergent" series, "Allegiant," will still be out next year but the buzz over the story's ending and what happens to Four and Tris' story have already begun.

Actors Shailene Woodley, who plays Tris, and Theo James, who portrays Four, talked about their on-screen chemistry as well as the shocking ending that fans will see in the movie in an interview with Digital Spy.

In the novel, Tris dies as she tries to save everyone. This has prompted fans of the series to file a petition in Change.orgHowever, it seems that the ending won't be any different in the movie.

Roth already told Vulture that the conclusion was written in such a way that, "it must be told."

Woodley agrees and she told Digital Spy that, "I think that it's a beautiful decision that Veronica made... I mean, how often is it that somebody you really admire and who does take selfless risks everyday ends up living."

James echoed his co-star's sentiments.

"Tris' character is, it's all about self-sacrifice. It would be strange if you just saw Four and her in the end like smoking cigars and hanging out with their kids and their dog," added the actor.

"Allegiant" will continue the story of Tris and Four and their quest to find out the truth about the factions and what lies outside their city. With the changes in their society and control of power, both characters will be put in danger, more so Tris, who was discovered to be a divergent.

The movie will also show the relationship that bloomed between Tris and Four. Woodley and James have already denied rumors that they are dating but it seems that the on-screen chemistry between the two will tell otherwise.

In the book, the two will share an intimate moment but it won't "titillate," something that Roth told the Independent in January 2014.

It remains to be seen if the plot will be the same in the movie but James already revealed to Flickering Myth that the third film will be a step up than the previous films.

"One thing I am pleased with is that it's more adult even than the first one. I think that's very important because audiences are more and more sophisticated, especially young people, so you can't dumb anything down or they see through it."

"Divergent: Allegiant" will hit theaters on March 18, 2016.
