"Watch What Happens" host Andy Cohen recently revealed he keeps in regular contact with jailed "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice and insists she isn't moping around feeling sorry for herself.

"She seems like she is okay," Cohen told Entertainment Weekly. "She definitely has not lost her sense of humor, which I really admire. She's really funny in her emails."

Currently, the 43-year-old Giudice is serving out the remainder of her 15-month sentence at the Danbury Correctional Facility on bank fraud charges and is slated to be released sometime around Christmas. Reports are she has already signed on to rejoin the cast of "Real Housewives" once she has been released.

Cohen explained he and Giudice correspond via a "special prison [email] system," for which he was required to provide his social security number and other personal information.

When she isn't chatting with Cohen, indications are Giudice has remained busy while locked away. Rumors are she is hard at work on a memoir about her time behind bars, which reportedly will include details about prison fights, what she's eating, and more.

Back in April, the Bravo star released an exclusive statement to Us Weekly in which she vowed to remain strong through her tough times.

"I miss Joe and my girls terribly, but we are going to get through this as a family one day at a time," she said back then. "We will be stronger because of this. Nothing can break us apart."

Once Teresa has been released, Jos Giudice is slated to begin serving his 41-month sentence on similar charges. Currently, he is the midst of shooting his own spin-off show, which is expected to focus on his travails as a single father working to care for his four daughters while his wife is away.
