Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is set to make headlines once again but not because of his performance on the hardcourt. Nike is scheduled to release new colorways of two different variants of James' signature shoe.

The LeBron 12 Low, the low-top edition of James' latest signature shoe, will come out in Black/Metallic Gold-Anthracite-Radiant Emerald, which is considered as the 'SVSM' edition.

According to Sneakernews, the LeBron 12 Low "SVSM" edition pays homage to James' high school days at St. Vincent-Saint Mary before he entered the league as the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft.

"It's been quite a while since Nike and LeBron James returned to SVSM with a sneaker release," Sneakernews noted. "This upcoming September drop features the LeBron 12 Low silhouette in familiar green and gold tones that draw back to King James' pre-NBA days at Saint Vincent-Saint Mary."

Aside from the green and gold hints, this edition also sports a black-based upper part, which features combination of Hyperposite and carbon fiber materials, and is finished off with a translucent outsole.

The Nike LeBron 12 Low "SVSM" will be released on Sept. 3 with retail price set at $175. It will be available on Nike.com and selected retailers worldwide. Photos of this new edition can be seen on this link.

Meanwhile, Nike will also release a new colorway of the LeBron 12 EXT - the off-court variant of James' latest signature line. It will come out in Volt/Volt-White-Black, which is simply named as the "Volt" edition but is also being dubbed as the "Tennis Ball" edition.

According to Sneakernews, this edition resembles previous tennis ball-inspired sneakers like the ALIFE x Reebok Court Victory Pump and an OG Nike tennis shoe. It features a volt-based upper part combined with white and black hints on top of a translucent outsole.

Sneakernews added that the design and look of this new colorway make it look like an on-court shoe, but it was still created for off-court or after-game purposes.

"While the shoes feature a sporty look with the speedy Volt colorway, the upper materials used for this release make these more suitable for off-the-court looks," Sneakernews noted.

Fans could get their own pair of this shoe even before the highly anticipated LeBron 12 Low "SVSM" hits the market. The LeBron 12 EXT "Volt" or "Tennis" ball will arrive at selected retailers on Aug. 28 with retail price set at $250 per pair. Photos are available on this links from Sneakernews and US11.
