Mad Max is set in a post-apocalyptic world where there is not much left besides Max and enemies. In the video game, players will help Max survive in the baron wastelands, with a combination of hand-to-hand combat, gun fights and car battles, PC Advisor reports.

Max will start out with very little to help him defend himself. He will need to acquire weapons, learn new skills, and continue to upgrade his vehicle. The ultimate goal is to create a powerful war vehicle that will help him escape the wasteland he is stuck in.

The game is presented in an open world style, meaning there are tons of things to explore and discover. Oftentimes Max will encounter gangs of bandits wanting to harm him, but dangerous weather patterns and rugged environments will make Max's experience difficult.

The world is always changing, so Max's experience will always be different as he travels through the game. Max will keep his eyes open looking for vehicle upgrades.

Besides the vehicle needing upgrades, Max will need his equipment and weapons to be upgraded as well. Max can gain experience from fighting in different styles and switching between melee combat, gunplay and tactical techniques. Upgrading Max's equipment and weapons will help him last longer in fights against bandits and gangs he will encounter.

A brand new trailer has been released for Mad Max. In the trailer, viewers will be able to see the choices that they will be forced to make in the game. The video starts out with Max observing some enemies with binoculars coming in multiple vehicles. The viewer is given a choice on what to do next: They can either "Go Heavy," "Go Loud," or "Go Mad." They only have 10 seconds to make their selection. Based on their choice, the video will jump to the next scene, showing the outcome of their choice.

The trailer shows tons of car battles with gun attachments, takedowns, grappling hooks and plenty of explosions. Players will definitely be looking forward to the open world environment that will offer plenty of these battles in Mad Max.

Mad Max will available for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC starting Sept. 1.
