Following the events of last week's episode of "Hannibal," things got a little too close to home for Will Graham (Hugh Dancy). The next episode is titled "The Number of the Beast is 666" and it will air on broadcast network NBC this Saturday, Aug. 22, at 9 p.m. EDT, according to TV Guide.

The unique mixture of mystery and horror that has plagued the show's final days has taken the original story of Hannibal Lecter by author Thomas Harris and modernized it to play out with incredible suspense and shocking plotlines.

Although the show has made some unique changes with gender, the storyline has played out in similar ways. According to Spoilers Guide, that is, of course, how the next episode will progress, when Graham and Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) desperately set up a trap to try and lure the Red Dragon (Richard Armitage) out of hiding, following his botched attempt on the lives of Molly (Nina Arianda) and her son.

Going after Will's family was something that fans all knew the Red Dragon would do, but how it played out was a different story, with new repercussions on Will's relationship.

Raúl Esparza comes back as a guest star after the FBI enlists the help of Dr. Frederick Chilton and Freddie Lounds (Lara Jean Chorostecki) to set up the trap for Dolarhyde, who is unknown to Will and Jack at the moment.

Even after the attack on Will's wife, as reported by Entertainment Weekly, he still feels empathy for the Red Dragon, and he finds it hard to reconcile with that. Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) sees this in Will, and she warns him that the killer he seeks may not be the Red Dragon at all, but rather the killer within himself.

Nevertheless, Spoilers Guide reports that Dolarhyde sees the FBI closing in, and he starts to execute his endgame.
