It's that time of the summer again, when the leaks and rumors start flowing full speed for whatever device Google has in store for the fall. A major leak over the weekend gives us a clear look at what looks to be an LG-made Google second Generation Nexus 5 for 2015.

LG has been rumored to be making one of two Nexus devices for Google this year, with Huawei seemingly lined up for the other, as we previously reported. One Nexus device is believed to be a new phablet at 5.7-inches, made by the Chinese upstart technology company while the other, a 5.2-inch Nexus 5 refresh, is believed to be coming from long-time Google manufacturing partner LG.

The photo leaked over the weekend by a member of the Indonesian Google+ Nexus community (via TheVerge) seems to be a pretty clear look at the (backside of the) LG-manufactured Nexus 5 2015.

The picture is of the back of a white smartphone clearly labeled "nexus" in the same font as the label on the back of the 2014 Nexus 6.

The device, marked "not for sale," features what looks like a dual-tone LED flash with a light sensor and a camera sensor that seems somewhat prominently raised from the rest of the chassis, at least compared to the last Motorola-made Nexus smartphone.

A smaller metal circle -- suspiciously similar to where Motorola tends to place its finger-dimple logo -- is located right under the camera lens. TheVerge ventured a guess that it could be the rumored fingerprint sensor. Comporting with LG's previous builds for Google, there is no "rear key" evident on the back at all.

However, a small sticker in the corner with a barcode and other manufacturing information definitely includes a little red "LG" logo, giving away the manufacturer of the device. That is, unless it's a fake, in which case we're back to square one.

That's enough reason to take this leak with a grain of salt, but if Google indeed is releasing a new set of Nexus phones to coincide with their habitual mid-fall release of the newest version of Android (Android M), expect more details to leak as we head out of the summer.
