With the launch of Forza Motorsport 6 about to come, many fans are eager to know what else to expect from the popular racing game. Turn 10 Studios have recently revealed details about the title's competitive multiplayer mode, which, according to them, will give fans the "perfect race" experience, IGN has learned.

Turn 10 Studios' creative director, Dan Greenawalt, spoke with the news outlet and described the upgraded multiplayer mode that fans will experience in the upcoming title.

According to Greenawalt, the new mode will offer a different gameplay experience to the players because the main objective is not "necessarily looking to win."

The new League mode to come to Forza 6 will have players compete and race against others that are of the same skill, level and attitude within a set schedule. The creative director said the new mode hopes to address what fans have been looking for in a multiplayer setting.

"What they want is that perfect race, against people that are like them, that are the same skill level and are as rough or as clean as they are, that speak their same language," said Greenawalt. "People they can socialize with. Leagues help us accomplish exactly what they're looking for."

According to the description on the Forza Motorsport's official website, the "Online Leagues are designed to deliver on the promise of 24-car multiplayer."

Players will get to experience racing against other drivers within their same skill and level as the new multiplayer mode classifies racers into "Driver Divisions," which will identify racers of the same skill and professionalism.

Just like any other league, players will have to start racing at the lowest level. Those who perform well will be upgraded to higher levels. Turn 10 Studios used a rating system much like the Elo rating used in playing chess to determine the level and skill of a player that will level up.

Other criteria to be used in classifying drivers divisions will be their driving style and temperament when driving. Those who prefer close contact will be placed against others who enjoy the same driving style and vice versa.

"So when people say, 'I'm a clean racer' or 'I'm not a clean racer' it's not black or white; it's usually somewhere in between. And we're able to do the same thing. We put you in a division based on both your speed and the way that you like to race," explained Greenawalt to IGN.

Aside from the "Drivers Division," the Leagues will not be available for play at all times. The developers have designated schedules for when racers can take part in it.

The creative director explained that many things inspired them to add the new feature in Forza 6, but the main driving point was the answers and suggestions made by fans on what they want to see and experience in the game.

Forza Motorsport will hit shelves on September 15.
