The swiftest way to get your hands on the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" multiplayer beta version is to pre-order the game on PS4, Xbox One or PC from a participating retailer or pre-book the game through the PS Store, Xbox Live or PC Steam.
Not interested in pre-ordering the game just yet? Well, you are still in luck!

According to Activision's official blog, the beta version will be available first on PlayStation 4 on August 19 while Xbox One and PC owners get to access the beta starting on August 26.
Treyarch has released a teaser video of the game's beta version, which already looks eons ahead of Advance Warfare's gameplay. You could only imagine what the final product will look like.
The video glimpsed at the upcoming game's combat movement.
Those who will have access to the beta version will revel at the game's realistic underwater shooting.
Other neat beta experiences include enjoying the game's improved fighting mechanics, wall runs, mid-air maneuvers and reverse direction action.
Given the fact that it's still a test version, any progress a player incurs over the beta won't be translated to the final game upon its release later this year.
As stated on Treyarch's official blog site, features of the upcoming "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" on PC include the following:
- 100% ranked dedicated servers
- Two-player split-screen
- Game controller support
- GPU scaling, SLI and crossfire optimizations, and 4K monitor support
- FOV slider
- Framerate cap slider
- Improved text Chat features available in-game and also now in lobbies.
- Steam trading cards
- Treyarch Anti-Cheat (TAC)
As stated above, "Black Ops 3" will have a field-of-view slider. This allows players to have a better grasp of the CoD surroundings. That is understandable, considering that the game will now support 4K-resolution monitors.
Changes have also been made with regards to competitive play, one of which includes banning of particular weapons and items before the start of the match.
Another recent development prior to the final game's release is that Sony has been handed the rights to publish the game in Japan, VG24/7 reported.
As part of the agreement, the game will have an option for Japanese voices and subtitles.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be released on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 (PS4-exclusive in Japan), PlayStation 3 and PC on November 6.
