NBA 2K16 will feature an all new mode called Pro-Am Mode, which will take players' characters from the MyPlayer mode and put them into a customizable game with other online players.

This is the ultimate way to play NBA 2K16 and up to 40 players can play at the same time, Heavy.com reports. The created players will be fully customizable, with changeable jerseys, logos and customizable arenas.

Players will be able to combine their MyPlayer characters with other online players' MyPlayer characters to create a customized squad and challenge other online players all while playing with real-life NBA rules.

For the ideal transition from MyCareer Mode to Pro-Am Mode, players will need to spend time in MyCareer Mode pumping up their characters' stats and attributes. Bringing the player up and giving him plenty of game experience will ensure a highly competitive player for Pro-Am Mode.

MyCareer Mode is getting a complete face-lift for NBA 2K16. Spike Lee has helped developers create a story mode that will include all of the players' experiences from high school to college, through the NBA Draft and beyond. Players will have to make important decisions about their finances and lifestyle choices in order to stay focused on the game of basketball.

In NBA 2K15, Pharrell Williams handpicked the songs. This left some players with different tastes than Williams unhappy. In NBA 2K16, three different DJs have created an expansive playlist for the game. DJ Premier, DJ Khaled and DJ Mustard have all selected a wide variety of songs that will be used in the game.

Pre-ordering NBA 2K16 will give players the ultimate reward: the ability to play the game early. The traditional, public release for the game is Sept. 29, but pre-ordering the game will allow players to experience NBA 2K16 on Sept. 25. They will also be awarded with 10,000 Virtual Currency (VC) and the NBA 2K MyTeam VIP 3 Pack, according to Vine Report.
