Jennifer Lawrence seems to be happy with the current status of her romantic life but not to the point of getting married just yet.

OK! Magazine claimed on their February 3 issue that Jennifer Lawrence and boyfriend Nicholas Hault were engaged last year. There were even details that the American Hustle actress was all teary out of happiness with the proposal she got. This may sound highly exciting for fans of the couple but the sad part is that there is nothing true about it.

An official statement was issued out by the publication's representative expressing their apology for coming up with a false cover story. Other details of the alleged story that the magazine said sorry about include the two getting engaged during the Christmas holidays, with family as witness and an engagement ring worth $250,000.

"Not only was the basis of this cover story completely fabricated but it is in fact the second time in three months that OK! has published a false story of an engagement between the two parties," the representative shared with E! News.

These engagement rumors may have also been fueled up when the 23-year-old Hunger Games star was seen wearing a ring on the finger. However, a source quickly shared that it was not an engagement ring.

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hault started dating way back in 2011 after having together X-Men: First Class. They were reported to have headed to splitsville in 2013 but got back in each other's arms again after six months.
