Kanye West is pushing for two-year daughter North to be paid more than either Kris Jenner or any of wife Kim Kardashian's sisters to make appearance on the family-driven "Keeping Up with the Kardashian's" reality show.

HollywoodLife reports West has informed Kim he's willing to allow North to be on the show but in order for the deal to work she has to be paid more than just about everyone else in the cast.

"He wants North to be famous," said a source. "He absolutely wants her to have that life, and she will have it -- if the price is right."

West's hardball tactics appear to be working, as HollywoodLife adds the tot, affectionately known as Nori, will be appearing in a lot more scenes during the upcoming season that are already being shot.

"North is being filmed with Kim," said a source, adding that Kim is extremely protective of those scenes and all decisions about them are jointly made by her and Kanye.

Recently, rumors have also percolated that Kim is trying to convince mom Jenner it may be time for her to retire and leave her in charge of the family empire.

"Kim's always dreamed of taking Kris' place at the head of the family," said a source, adding that with West at her side, she now appears to be even more empowered to make the move.

"She wants Kanye to call all the shots with her, from show plot lines to business and endorsement deals," the source added.

As might be expected, 59-year-old Jenner isn't exactly on board with all the would-be changes. But Kardashian, 34, is rumored to remain adamant in convincing her that managing such a growing empire "is a young woman's job."
